Partner disclosure
This is a commercial site and you should read it knowing that. This page sets out how it is funded and what that does — and does not — change about what you read here.
How this site is funded
Sites in this category are typically funded by affiliate arrangements: the publisher is paid when a reader opens an account with the platform being written about. Where such an arrangement is in place, outbound links to the platform may be tracked, and a payment may follow from your signing up. The price you pay is unaffected — affiliate commission is paid by the platform out of its own marketing budget, not added to your costs.
What it does not change
- The mechanics described here are described the same way regardless of commercial interest. A fixed-time trade that costs the whole stake when it loses is written up as exactly that.
- The risk warnings stay in. No guide has a caveat removed to make the product look better.
- We do not claim to have tested anything we have not, and no commercial arrangement buys a claim of testing, endorsement or performance.
- We do not tell you the product is safe, suitable, or lawful where you live. Those are yours to check with the platform's terms and your own financial authority.
The risk warning that belongs with it
Trading involves risk of loss. Fixed-time trading is a high-risk, short-horizon product: a losing trade costs the entire stake, and a winning one returns less than the stake in profit, which means the structure works against a trader who treats it casually. Leveraged forex and CFD positions carry a different risk shape again. Only commit money you can afford to lose, and treat a demo account as the sensible first step rather than a formality.
